Acceptable use

What this is

DeclarativeHost is in beta. You are an invited tester. The service is provided as-is, it is free, and it may change or be interrupted at short notice.

Do not put anything on it that you cannot afford to lose. Keep your own backups of anything you care about.

What you may not do

Your VMs are real machines on shared hardware, with real network access. You must not use them to:

• break the law in your jurisdiction or ours
• attack, scan, or disrupt anyone else's systems
• send spam, or relay mail you did not originate
• mine cryptocurrency, or otherwise consume resources for their own sake rather than to test the platform
• host or distribute malware
• attempt to reach another tenant's VMs, data, or the host systems themselves

Your allowance

Your account has a ceiling on how much you can run at once — number of VMs, total vCPUs, total memory, total disk. You can create, resize and delete freely within it. Ask if you need more room.

Suspension and ending your account

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or that threatens the platform's stability. A suspended account keeps its data and can be reinstated.

You can ask us to close your account at any time. When an account is offboarded, its VMs and their storage are destroyed and we verify that nothing is left running. See the privacy notice for what we keep afterwards.

Changes

If these terms change materially, you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you sign in.
